------1st day [13/10/08]--------
-arrived to sch with Joanne in a cab. :D
-lined up in the concourse.
-went up the bus, 1 class 1 bus.
-in obs, we were split into diff groups.
-i am like the last few to be called..
-thn i went into this wonderful watch, Sagittarius. :D
-Samuel is the instructor. he is very funny. :D
-we went to a dark tunnel with diff kinds of obstacles.
-like crawling, squeezing..
-at the end, was a lock, you need to gather all the ans and solve it.
-we cant, so we need to sing sch song..
-thn after Sam open the door, Mr. Tan was standing there with the camera and "CHEESE" .
-ate lunch, cheer was : you eat, i eat, evrybody eat!
-after tht, did high elements.
-it is like 3 diff obstacles at one time.
-one is like you holding one rope in the hand, and standing on one rope, walking sideways.
-the second one is you standing on two ropes, walking facing the front and some roped danggling, for your hand.
-the third one is a log, you have to walk on it and balance the whole way through.
-whn i doing the last obstacle, my leg was like uncontrolably shaking. i was like : stop lah! ai yerh! Lol(:
-we all DID IT! :D
-bathed.
-slept in the hut.
----------2nd day [14/10/08]-----------
-report at 5.55am.
-went Pulau Ubin.(:
-the bag was like damn heavy!!! i almost fell whn i first carry it. Kenneth said it is the same size as me =.=
-set up tents and thn ate.
-went hiking(:
-saw palm-sized spider, wildboar, sea eagles, sea fowl, fish tail fern, dragon scale fern, rubber plant seeds.(:
-thn there was a game, throw stone to the person on the right, and catch the stone from the person on the left.
-ate dinner, cheer was : le jia, wa jia, long zong jia.
aku makan, awak makan, [forgot already -.-]
-cleaned up and slept at the lower grass field. :D
----------3rd day [15/10/08]--------
-report at 6.15am.
-went kayaking, jetty jump and rafting.
-kayaking, grouped with Weijie and Zeke. was kind of sea sick. i sat in the front, and my hand ached. there is a game, evrybody must stand up, on the triyak. thn whn we are standin up tht time, we were like "Wwwooouu" *trying to balance.
-another game is to "row" the triyak using your hand. we were the last 2nd. LOL:D
-after tht was jetty jump. omg. Emily just jump, without hesitating, weijie want to jump another time, i stand there and smth strucked me. i was stunned. the height i so scary. it is like you commiting suicide. Lol(:
-rafting, we built a "boat". tht must be able to float and transport 15 people. using 4 barrels, 6 to 8 long poles and plenty of ropes. out of 4 watches, only one watch win. at least we tried hard. (:
-after tht, we washed up and slept at the "hill" with 101 steps to climb before we could get to the sleeping area. [ the 2nd night was actually the best place to sleep, cos the grass are thick, laying a cloth over it makes it very comfortable. {: ]
----------4th day [16/10/08]----------
-report at 6.15am.
-before going bck to east coast, we sat at the jetty [?is it?] and enjoy the breeze and the environment. i sketch it out(:
-we took ferry to east coast.
-there, we did high elements.We were split into five groups of three, and I was teamed with Lydia and Zeke. We had to climb up poles of wood parallel to the floor and each other, and they were suspended in the air and attached to each other with chain/wires. As we climb up another pole, the distance of each pole becomes wider. The first team to go was Wei Jie, Wan'er and Alivia. then after tht is Ignatius, Atikah and Peng lok. Bees were spotted and the elements were changed, to a half rope and half rock wall. Zeke and me grabbed the rock for a very long time, to wait for lydia to catch up with us. we were like :
"you can do it!" *struggling*
"you must try!" *trying to grab the rock very tightly*
"the blue one!the blue one!" *constipated face*
i was like : "i got muscles already!" *looking at my arm* ;D
"why ten mins so slow?!" *struggling*
after 10mins, Sam told me to continue climbing while Zeke and Lydia was lowered down. i dunno why i so kan-qiong [spellin?!] thn whn i like almost reach the top, i slipped, and finally was lowered. My arms so sore, and like i said, i got muscles already. ;D
-ate the last lunch together, Sam ate a mountain of food. [wonder how he finish it =) ]
-we board the bus at random, and met Joanne and Felicia at the concourse and went home, in a cab. :D
we were like home-sick in the first day,
and were like camp-sick the last day D':
missed thm alot.
